That requires a telephone call.

 

While we encourage lots of communications both written and verbal, eMail, as we prefer it to be used, is reserved for the exchange of information that contains:

1. Day to day communications; notice of a monthly database update; a new software release with the new software attached in ZIP file; a new product announcement or any other item of interest.

2. A friendly message, which we enjoy, or some critique, to which we pay serious attention.

3. A request for any sort of product improvement.  We love new ideas, which does not mean the request will be implemented immediately or even soon thereafter. However, when those, that are good for everyone arrive ... they can
happen quickly.

4. Documentation and explanation(s) of a problem requiring immediate attention - combined with SYSLOG and/or SYSDUMP info, specific record formats, if pertinent,
etc -
after that initial phone call!

 

(#4 may be last - because the need rarely arises - but it is just as important as the other entries!)
